Regular attendance at kura;
– Helps build and maintain a child’s learning
– Establishes positive daily routines
– Promotes well being by connecting to peers
– The more knowledge akonga get at kura the more choices they will have when they leave
Our Target
– Our kura target is 95% attendance during a term
– This equates to missing less than three days of kura in a standard 10 week term
– This equates to missing less than 12 days of kura throughout the year
Our Expectations
– All akonga are expected to attend kura every day
– All akonga are expected to be at kura by 9.00am
– The following reasons for absences will be accepted; tangihanga, sickness
