Innovate & Create is a learning space created for tuakana to strengthen self-directed learning. Learning opportunities include Passion Projects, Genius Hour, Science, Technology, Visual Arts & Project Based Learning.
Innovate & Create purpose:
- Provide opportunities for Years 4-8 akonga to drive their own learning by exploring their interests & passions
- Explore scientific investigations & experiments
- Be creative & extend visual art techniques
- Have fun!
- Use the Key Competencies & Values of the NZC to drive teaching & learning opportunities
