Our Explore & Discover programme operates everyday. One classroom has been transformed into this amazing space where fabulous learning takes place. Learning opportunities include adventure & junk play, blocks, books & storytelling, carpentry, collage, messy play music & so much more.
Explore & Discover purpose:
- Build strong oral language skills in Years 1-3 akonga
- Strengthen relationships between akonga & akonga & akonga & kaimahi
- Widen akonga learning experiences through explore, experiment, solve problems & discover
- Promote akonga to show their learning in a variety of ways
- Use the Key Competencies and Values of the NZC to drive teaching & learning opportunities
